Our Story: Linear Land Surveying
Linear Land Surveying are a Licensed Melbourne Land Surveyors that have been in operation since 2017.
Previously trading under Carson Simpson Pty Ltd, Linear Land Surveying has over 30 years of industry experience.
At Linear Land Surveying, we’re here to ensure your land development project is a success. Our qualified staff, with over three decades of experience, and are led by Managing Director and Licensed Land Surveyor, Sam Brewin.
We provide a professional service to ensure you receive tailored advice, precise measurements and accurate spatial data on your project.
With offices in Vermont, Alexandra and Bendigo, we’re equipped to service Melbourne and surrounds. Field parties are fully equipped with 4×4 field vehicles to cover projects across all conditions.
We employ modern survey equipment (Leica TS16, Leica Viva & 1200 series total stations & Leica GPS Rovers) and are dedicated to producing high-quality survey services and survey plans in various digital formats. Liscad and Autocad are utilised for our plan production, with conversion output software available to most mainstream engineering and architectural packages.
We are a proud member of Consulting Surveyors Victoria and the Consulting Surveyors National Professional Standards Scheme.

Sam has over 15 years of experience in a range of field surveys, GPS, land subdivision & development consulting.
John
Office Manager
John has over 30 years experience in both private practice and in the Lands Department, Victoria. John oversees plan production and supply of all spatial data.
Tim
Senior Field Surveyor
Tim has 20 years of experience in a full range of survey and control works in land & engineering surveys. Tim is an Apartment Subdivision specialist.
Jordan
Survey Party Leader – PTA Candidate, B.App.Sci Hons(Surveying)
Jordan has 6 years of experience with both urban and rural surveys. Jordan is currently completing his Professional Training Agreement.
Jeremy
Survey Party Leader – B.App.Sci Hons(Surveying)
Jeremy is a graduate surveyor with 3 years of experience in both urban and rural surveys. Jeremy is experienced in drone technology and holds a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL).
Chris
Survey Assistant with Party Leader Experience
Chris has completed an Advanced Diploma in Surveying and has years of experience in a range of survey field work in both urban and rural areas.
